Group Organiser and Local Area Marketing CMO, Joe Kowalewski, said the program is for members to create and maintain a Pandemic Transition Plan to keep businesses sustainable, adaptable and ultimately prosperous.

The Program’s Phase 3 component, an interactive session, will be hosted by Penrith group on Tuesday 15 September to guide members in identifying and rectifying any weaknesses in the protection of their online business assets.

Since the Springwood, Glenbrook, Penrith, Parramatta and Baulkham Hills groups are all online and fee-free during the pandemic, members can easily move through them taking advantage of speciality presentations while promoting their businesses to a wider group of like-minded owners.

Keynote speaker, John Groarke, tutored the group in perfecting their business pitch to enhance effectiveness. John, known as Australia’s “Mentor to Consultants", is the Principal of JEGMC (Management Consulting) and mentor with the Small Business Mentoring Service (SBMS).

The group also learned how to ‘spice-up’ their online meetings using new, fun features in Zoom.

Discussions on collaboration opportunities, business referral, cyber-security issues and 1-1 individual meetings in the Group’s virtual meeting rooms capped off a productive morning.
