A magnificent food display (for eating), boutique beer on tap and a chance to meet hotel owner and iconic Australian publican Arthur Laundy, made the June Greater Blacktown Business Chamber Inc. meeting a unique event.
Opened in April, the The Marsden Brewhouse hosted the meeting attracting more than 100 GBBC members to enjoy the ambience and hospitality of a hotel boasting its own brewery, function centre and landscaped outdoor entertainment areas.
Brewhouse General Manager, Wayne MacDonald, was on hand to receive his organisation's Silver Membership certificate from Chamber President, Trevor Oldfield
The Salvation Army was also on hand to receive a $3,323 donation to its Red Shield Appeal raised by the Chamber's recent golf day.
Major Glenn Price received the cheque on behalf of the appeal and presented the chamber with a Certificate of Appreciation for its support.
The July GBBC meeting will be held on 18 July hosted by Blacktown City Council at the Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre. Tickets and more details coming soon.
