Jamisontown based Creo Wealth hosted the August Greater Blacktown Business Chamber Business (GBBC) After Five function at Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope.
Creo Wealth are financial planners who describe themselves as "problem solvers" for people passing through various stages of life from starting families to retirement.
Husband and wife team Kylie and Anthony Sultana emphasised the importance of taking action to achieve financial and life dreams instead of only talking about it.
As Kylie Sultana says, "You don't need to be wealthy to invest, but you do need to invest to become wealthy."
New members welcomed to GBBC and presented with General Membership Certificates were: New Vision Financial Services, Business Growth & Exit Specialists, C-Mac Industries (Aust) Pty Ltd and Aussie Home Loans.
Chamber President Trevor Oldfield, also made a special Honorary Membership presentation to Blacktown City Council's Head of Economic Development, Nathan Burbridge in recognition of his support.
Trevor said Nathan, who is leaving Council, had supported the GBBC from its beginning and had been the conduit between the business community and Council.
He said that building wonderful relationships was " . . . something you just don't get every day . . ." between a chamber and a council.
GBBC's September event will be hosted by Blacktown Hospital on 20 September with guest speaker, Former NSW Premier and Labor Party leader, Nathan Rees.
