Networking Opportunities for Small Business Owners - August

August has a feast of networking, training and weekend market/sales opportunities throughout Greater Western Sydney beginning with the Western Sydney Small Business Expo tomorrow.

The Expo runs from 9am-4pm in the Grand Pavilion at Rosehill Gardens. It boasts a range of speakers, workshops, an expo and major networking function. Latest details here.

From today there are 49 networking meetings, eight training courses and seven community events listed in our Small Business & Start-up Events Calendar.

Highlights for August include South Western Networking Groups' weekly meetings tomorrow (Wednesday 8 August) from 7am at Camden, Campbelltown, Liverpool, Narellan and Picton.

Hawkesbury BxNetworking begins at 8am at the Ugly Mug Coffee House, Richmond. Campbelltown - No Fuss Small Business Networking runs from 11:00am-12:30pm at Rydges Hotel.

8 August also has free training at BREED Business Centre, Quakers Hill - Branding on a Budget 6pm - 7.30pm.

Thursday 9 August Local Area Marketing & Networking - Norwest has a business support theme with a coaching session by "consultant's consultant," John Groarke, for owners to define their purpose, a relevant mission and meaningful set of core values. Business models - sole trader - versus company - versus trust, will be explained along with how to avoid travel fraud. Local Area Marketing & Networking - Parramatta runs on Wednesday 15 August at Parramatta RSL.

Friday 10 August Campbelltown BxNetworking special event from 8am with leading referral marketing authority, Michael Griffiths.

This weekend offers lots of opportunities and activities. Saturday 11 August Grasmere - Carrington Fair 9am.

Sunday 12 August Blackheath - Growers Market from 9am; Castle Hill / Kellyville - My Kids Market 9am-noon and Rouse Hill Family Fair 9am-4pm.

Want evening networking? Greater Blacktown Business Chamber has it's Business After Five event on 16 August at Blacktown Leisure Centre, Stanhope from 5.30pm and Penrith Small Business Owners Network special event starts at 6.30pm on Tuesday 21 August featuring business coach Madalaine Vallin. $10.
