August expo provides success tools & networking for small business owners

The annual Western Sydney Small Business Expo is on again in August featuring an action packed day of speakers, workshops, an expo and networking function geared towards stimulating the development of small and start-up businesses.

It aims to connect like-minded corporations to start-ups and small businesses to develop essential operations, stimulate investment and spotlight the rich diversity of small business in Western Sydney.

Small businesses (less than 19 employees) make up 98 percent of Western Sydney's economy, the third largest economic contributor to Australia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Western Sydney is also Australia's fastest growing region with a forecasted population growth of 70 percent forecast in the next 18 years creating an economic incubator for existing and future business opportunities.

This one-day event, now in its second year, will run on Wednesday 8 August from 9.30am-4pm at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse.

Organisers say it will provide a chance for small businesses to collaborate and network with large corporations who can assist with their business challenges and opportunities and provide practical strategies to help drive growth and success.
